Collaboration with Savanna honey International

In a bid to supporting Apiculture, Chyulu Development Foundation and Savanna Honey are already in official talks to establish a framework on joint operations, towards supporting profitable bee keeping in Makueni, Taita Taveta and beyond. In the Memorandum of Action, Chyulu Development Foundation will undertake farmers' coordination and baseline research, while Savanna honey provides technical training, farmer incentivization and market access.
The collaboration will see Chyulu farmers join the Honey export Market, and the publicizing of Chyulu organic honey that is foraged from Bakck Acacia flowers(the most coveted globally)

The collaboration will diverge into supporting value addition and other precision apiculture technologies.

The executive meeting brought together the two CEOs of the organizations, and their directorship.
